Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using The Pact (thepact.club), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. The Pact is currently invitation-only and operated by the platform administrator as a pre-launch pilot.

2. Eligibility & NDA

The Pact is a private collaboration platform. Joining a project lobby requires clicking to accept a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). You are responsible for honoring the NDA you accept. See Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (project descriptions, chat messages, documents). You grant The Pact a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content to members of lobbies you join. The Pact does not sell, share, or train models on your content.

4. No Warranties

The Pact is provided "as is" during the pilot phase. We do not warrant uptime, data preservation across migrations, or fitness for any particular purpose. Back up anything you consider critical.

5. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of service. This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health, or to mandatory statutory liability under German or EU law.

6. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany. Contact: hello@thepact.club.
